REVIEW: Lust Have It Beauty Subscription Box (October 2016)*

I've always thought of subscription boxes as a great way to treat yourself, again and again and again.  You know, the gift that keeps on giving and all that.

Nothing beats getting a surprise parcel in the mail full of beauty products, and I've been receiving Lust Have It's beauty subscription boxes for about two months now, and I am loving it!

For $19.95 a month, you'll receive 5+ beauty products (both deluxe sample size and full size!), along with a makeup bag, which is a pretty rad deal considering some of the products alone are worth more than the entire box!

And because I love you guys, I've got $10 off your first Lust Have It box for first-time subscribers with the coupon code JESSICAANNE! #youarewelcome

Read on to see what's in the October box...
REVIEW: Lust Have It Beauty Subscription Box (October 2016)

So what is Lust Have It? This Aussie-based (whoo, local!) subscription service sends you a beauty box every month with 5+ deluxe samples (and sometimes full size prodz too!) for $19.95 a month.

The products vary in size and shade, but every month you are easily getting bang for your buck - this month's box alone was worth more than $60!

So let's unzip this baby and take a look inside!

Face of Australia Translucent Loose Powder

RRP: $11.95

As soon as I spotted this FULL SIZE translucent powder in the bag, I was super stoked! This Face of Australia powder is almost always sold out at my local shops (probably since the rising popularity of baking your makeup!), so the fact that I received a full size one in my Lust Have It bag made me happy little beauty blogger!

If you're having trouble finding this powder yourself, I highly recommend signing up to Lust Have It soon so you're still eligible for the October bag - if it's your first bag, it'll only cost $9.95 with my coupon code (JESSICAANNE), which is cheaper than buying this powder in stores!

OFRA Universal Eyebrow Pencil

RRP: $17

OFRA is a brand that really should get more love - in my last Lust Have It box, I actually received an OFRA liquid lipstick in the shade Mocha, which I fell deeply deeply in love with. So I was pretty pleased to find a full size eyebrow pencil from the brand in this month's box!

This pencil has a great 'waxy' formula, which means it'll be really long-lasting on the brows. Eyebrow pencils that are too soft and creamy can be tough to blend and look unnatural (block brows, anyone?), so I'm pretty impressed with OFRA's formulation. I tend to use pomades for my brows though, but my mum loves eyebrow pencils, so this will be a lovely surprise for her!

mPrincess Mineral Powder Foundation

RRP: $15 (full size)

I haven't heard of the mPrincess brand before, so I was pretty intrigued! That's one thing I really like about Lust Have It - sometimes you get products from smaller brands to discover and try out! This little pot of mineral powder foundation was a sample size, but based on the swatch, it looks like it will last quite a while!

I usually like applying powder foundations over a sheerer makeup base like a BB cream for a more casual makeup look that's more suited for the days where I want a bit of coverage, but don't need to do my full makeup routine. Looking forward to giving this one a proper try!

Manna Kadar Lip Chubbie

RRP: $24

The retail price of this lip crayon is already worth more than the box itself, so that's pretty awesome alone! This Manna Kadar Lip Chubbie is in the shade Buttercup, which is a bright, watermelon red which will be perfect for spring.

These retractable lip chubbies also have a priming formula, helping the colour stay on longer, as well as added Vitamin A and E to keep your lips hydrated.

BONUS ITEM: Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel

RRP: $10.95

All Lust Have It boxes also include a surprise mystery item and mine this month was this Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel, which honestly has been a lifesaver! I can be a bit of a packaging snob sometimes, and if I didn't receive this product in my bag, I probably wouldn't even have noticed it on the shop shelves, let alone tried it!

But I'm so glad that I did - I have had horrendously dry skin on the back of my left hand (eww, I know) that all my hand creams were just irritating with no help, but as soon as I tried this gel, my hand felt so much softer and smoother! Love, love, LOVE.

REVIEW: Lust Have It Beauty Subscription Box (October 2016)

Pretty decent haul, hey? Here's what I received in my last box too in case you wanted to see!

2. OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (RRP $27)
3. GOSH Mineral Colour Pigment (RRP $14)
4. Manna Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer & Highlighter Duo (RRP $28)
5. A makeup primer spray (my mystery item)
