What's Inside the Mecca Level 1 Beauty Loop Box?

LEVEL ONE?! Jess, come on, you can do better than that!

At least when you're used to be toeing the line between Level Two and Level Three in Mecca's Beauty Loop program, plummeting back down to Level One just means I need to buy more makeup. And you know what? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

For those who are new to Beauty Loop, Mecca Maxima and Mecca Cosmetica award their customers with curated boxes of sample products each quarter based on spend. Being in Level One means I've spent $300 - $599 in the past 12 months, which while still a decent effort, I know I have the drive to bump myself up a level!

But the sample game in any of these level boxes is still pretty damn strong, and even Level One's offering is pretty ace. Want a good look inside the box? Read on!

Josie Maran Cosmetics 100% Pure Argan Oil

I was super psyched to see this in my Beauty Loop box, because I spilled the last bottle I owned! #devo

For someone who deals with dry skin on the reg, smothering this stuff on before I go to bed after my regular night time cleansing routine helps me wake up with soft, smooth, glowing skin.

While this little sample bottle may look small, beauty oils go a loooong way. Three drops is more than enough for your face, and anything left over on your fingers is perfect for running through the ends of your hair for silky locks. How's that for versatile?

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer

This is my actual holy grail primer, so getting a sample with at least 3 uses in there is a pretty awesome addition to this Beauty Loop box!

If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend you do. It has cult status for a reason - well, lots of a reasons!

It has SPF, is hydrating, creates a smooth canvas for makeup, and makes your makeup really long lasting. There are even rumours that this primer is waterproof!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser

I've already used this a couple of times since receiving it and so far it's a pretty good cleanser. It removes any leftover makeup that my remover didn't catch and gently exfoliates my skin.

It is slightly drying on my skin, but that could just be because my skin is naturally dry. Usually foaming cleansers like this one tend to suck up oil, which I don't really have!

Only other point is that I wash my face in the shower - I know haha - and trying to open one of these sample sachets with wet hands is a nightmare!

Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Definitely a popular eyeshadow primer for beginners - no wonder it's in the Level One box! - the Too Face Shadow Insurance helps your eyeshadow last longer and stop them from creasing.

I've tried the Too Faced face primer before and really liked that, so I have good expectations for this one! Too Faced make incredible eyeshadows, so I'm going to make a safe bet that their primer will also be top-notch.
Sorry about the quality of this shot, not sure what happened when I was exporting!
And that's everything inside the Level One box! Definitely sign up to Mecca's Beauty Loop program if you haven't already. If you're going to spend money there anyway, a quarterly box if goodies is such an awesome bonus!

If you're already a member and have achieved at least Level One, then you've got until May 4th to pick up your box either in store or with an online order. But be quick, these usually go quick!

What's your favourite product that you can get at Mecca? Let me know, I'm keen to bump up to Level Two!
