First Impressions: New makeup releases from L'Oreal

Who doesn't love a sneak peek? The lovely team at L'Oreal Australia's HQ invited me to their office to get to know some of their latest beauty releases and beauties, you're going to want to pencil this release date in your diary!

These new additions to the L'Oreal collection will be out this month, so keep an eye out for them during your frequent walks down the makeup aisle (myself included!). Want a cheeky first look? Read on!

Color Riche La Palette Nude in "Nude 01" and "Nude 02"

Okay, so imaginative shade names aside, L'Oreal's newest palettes to their eyeshadow family are these sleek compacts. Both palettes boast a range of wearable shades that you can wear during the day or smoked out at night. Each one comes with a mix of shimmery and matte colours, and the pigmentation is pretty good.

Personally my favourite is 'Nude 01' (pictured above) as the colour payoff is stronger than 'Nude 02', but the real winner here is the rose gold shade right in the middle of 'Nude 02'. Um, does this come in a single?! That colour alone is enough to make the palette worth it!

Voluminous Superstar Mascara

My lashes need all the help that they can get, so I'm super keen for my current mascara to finish up so I can open up this baby (anyone else like me and can only have one mascara open at a time incase they all dry out?!).

This dual-ended mascara comes with a white primer side and a regular mascara side with tiny little fibres that stick to the primer to help your lashes look longer and thicker. My lashes are pretty thin, so I try not to weigh them down with too much product, but if this can get them up and perky, then I'll definitely convert to a two-step lash routine!

Voluminous Superstar Liner

This is one product that I pretty much added straight to my routine after I received one to play with - this girl loves her liner! I've been using this everyday for the last couple of weeks and the thin to thick tip was a bit hard to get a hang of at first, but now I've got that wing down pat. Plus, this one is really black; there's nothing worse than a watery liner, but this one keeps any potential for panda eyes in check!

Infallible Matte FX Lip Colors

Get ready beauties - I'll bet these matte lipsticks are like nothing you've ever seen before, because they certainly took me by surprise too! This six-colour collection of stunning shades are actually lip powders. Say what!

These lippies come with a little pot of pressed powder, that you dip the sponge tipped applicator into, before putting it onto your lips. From there, you just kind of 'rub' it onto your lips to dispense the colour - though I'd definitely recommend exfoliating and moisturising your pucker first, because like any matte lip product, these can accentuate any dry patches on your pout.

These lipsticks create a gorgeously diffused lip look, that's extremely long lasting and leaves the prettiest stain behind after a few hours of wear. They remind me a bit of the Korean lip trend of having a soft stained colour to the lips. Super excited to see something like this in our Aussie market!

Which of the above products are you most excited to see released? Let me know in the comments below!
