TUTORIAL: How to Create The Half-Up Top Knot

When you can't even be bothered to put all of your hair up, the Half-Up Top Knot is the ultimate lazy-girl hairstyle. Because chore, right?

This simple up do has been *aLl ThE rAgE* lately, and it's a great little technique to have in your repertoire when your fringe is getting all up in your face. Windy weather, you got nothing on me.

All you need is a hair-tie, so grab one and we can get started!

1. First up, section off the very top layer of your hair. A good guide is to grab the hair above your ears and slide your thumbs back to pull the hair into a mini ponytail.

2. If you part your hair like me, use your fingers to brush your hair back to hide the line and smooth out that top section. The less bumpy, the better!

3. Now that we've got the top layer sorted, twist that section of hair like a rope. Then coil the hair around itself to form your bun, and gently shape it into a little ball. #TotesCute

All you have to do now is secure that little dumpling with your hair tie and you're done!

And that's how easy it is. Your hair is off your face, you still get to have your hair down, and when you take that bun out you'll have the loveliest soft curls that frame your face! Win. Win. Win.

  2. Discovering onion hair oil benefits has been a revelation for me. This natural elixir has become an integral part of my hair care routine. The abundance of nutrients has not only reduced hair fall but has also added a lustrous shine to my locks. Onion hair oil is a go-to solution for those who desire healthier and more resilient hair.
